Lizzie is cute and cuddley .... well as cuddley as a lizard can be. Once I started making these guys I could not stop. My son wants the entire collection, I am sure he will get his wish. It took me a bit the first time I made her but as I practiced it became much easier.

Cute Stuff

Okay so I bought the Cute Stuff book by Aranzi Aronzo, it is so much fun. The projects are easy for beginners and fun for all ages. My son wanted me to make one of the critters but I decided to make something easier .... so I made a tissue holder.

I used felt and applique flowers on the front. Even though it says it is a tissue holder I decided to use it to hold my bobbins instead.

I made my son one to hold his DS games. He wanted eyes on his and he picked the colors too!

A newbie and loving it!!

Well here it goes, this is my first sewing blog. I am a beginner who learns fast. I got my very first sewing machine for Christmas. It is pink and I love it. It is perfect for a beginner like me and I am hoping to use all 42 stitches. I have started some small projects and I am totally hooked!! I love sewing!! There I said it ... I love sewing. :)

As I complete projects I will post them here as well as cool sites I find along the way.
